It has been an extremely busy summer for Dortmund and they have responded to reports involving Manchester City.
Dortmund have been left unmoved by the latest reports linking Manchester City with striker Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang.
Pep Guardiola is an admirer of the frontman and the Blues did show an interest this summer before the chances of a move seemed to be cut.
Reports over the weekend saw speculation over Aubameyang’s future resurface but Michael Zorc, Dortmund’s team manager, has reiterated the club’s stance.
“All these rumours have already followed us this summer,” he told Bild .
“We can only repeat, as always, that he has a contract with us until 2020 and feels good at Borussia Dortmund — as it should remain.”
Aubameyang has recently spoken of his commitment to the Bundesliga club where he played a starring role last season, while Thomas Tuchel is keen to avoid any more departures after losing a key trio already this summer.
Ilkay Gundogan has moved to the Etihad, Henrikh Mkhitaryan is at Manchester United and – most controversially – defender Mats Hummels signed for Bayern Munich.
