Alexis Sanchez, is currently facing a contract stalemate with Arsenal. He has been linked very strongly with a switch to Manchester City this summer. City’s odds of signing the 28-year-old have increased with Bayern Munich and Chelsea said to be disqualifying themselves from the race.

Arsenal are trying to make a local sale tough after they realised that Pep Guardiola has made Sanchez a main target, even though they are aware that there are chances of losing the player on a free transfer next season should they fail to renew his contract.

Responding to a question posed to him on whether next season he would be a teammate of Bravo, who was seated next to him, the Arsenal star laughed saying: “Good question! Right now I’m focused on the Confederations Cup. My future will be decided after the cup. I know what it is, but cannot say.”

It is not clear whether he will remain at Arsenal. But many more questions will pop up concerning the star’s future at the Emirates following his refusal to give a confirmation on his future at the club.
