Manchester City are preparing to go away on tour for the first time under Pep Guardiola.
Angus Gunn is looking forward to going on tour with Manchester City after training with the first team under Pep Guardiola.
The Blues youngster had another stellar campaign for the EDS last year and is one of three players up for the Player of the Year award, alongside Bersant Celina and Aleix Garcia.
Gunn, 20, has been mooted for a loan move. Dutch team NAC Breda – who have an arrangement with City to take four to six EDS players every year – have been keen on the shotstopper for some time while Championship club Wigan have also reportedly shown an interest.
But for now at least the England Under-21 international will stay part of the City group. Having played his part in training at the CFA as Guardiola starts to introduce his ideas onto the squad, the keeper will be part of the touring squad that goes to Germany, China and Sweden.

City’s first game under their new coach is on Wednesday against Bayern Munich when Guardiola will return to the Allianz Arena, his home for the last three years.
They then head to China where they will take part in the International Champions Cup and face off against Thomas Tuchel’s Dortmund and Jose Mourinho’s United in what will be the first Manchester derby to be played outside of the UK.
The pre season schedule is rounded off with a game in Sweden against Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal, who finished two places above the Blues in the Premier League last season.
